Terms of sale and delivery

Nautage.com is operated in Denmark by: Nautage ApS, CVR number 41 09 65 51, Skudehavnsvej 27B, 2150 Nordhavn.

These terms of sale and delivery apply to the purchase of goods on Nautage.com for delivery in Denmark, with the exception of Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

Payment
Nautage receives payment with Dankort/VISA-Dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard and JCB. Payment will not be charged to your account until the item is deseed.

All amounts are in DKK. Danish kroner and includes VAT.

Nautage uses an authenticated payment server that encrypts all your card information with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. This means that you cannot read your information.

Delivery
Nautage delivers on all weekdays, with order placed before 12:00

Freight
Nautage.com endeavours to deliver the ordered goods within 1-2 business days after we have received your order, unless otherwise agreed in the purchase process. Nautage.com use different vendors. The freight cost depends on the size, delivery method, and vendor of each order.

Warranty A
2-year warranty is granted under the Danish Sale of Goods Act. Our warranty applies to defects in material and/or fabrication.

The complaint does not apply to errors or damage caused by improper operation of the product/service.

Nautage will cover return costs to a reasonable extent.

Refund
If a refund has been agreed, please send your bank details to customerservice@nautage.comso we can transfer the agreed amount.

Right of withdrawal
A 14-day full right of return is granted on goods purchased in our Webshop. The period is calculated from the day you receive the order.

Return costs must be borne by you.

Withdrawal must be reported to us no later than 14 after purchase and from the withdrawal you must return the shipment within 14 days of the shipment.

The message must be given by email on customerservice@nautage.com. In the notice, please make it clear to us that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal. You can also choose to use our standard withdrawal form and send back. You can find it here

The condition of the item when you send it back.
You are liable only for any deterioration in the value of the item due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item. In other words – you can try the item the same way you did if you tried it in a physical store.

If the item has been tried in addition to what is described above, we consider it used, which means that upon cancellation of the purchase you will only get a part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the commercial value of the item.

In order to receive the entire purchase amount back, you must do the same as you can in a physical store. You may test the item, but not use it.

What personal data do we collect and why

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data displayed in the comment form, and also the visitor’s IP address and the browser’s user agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) can be delivered to the Gravatar service to see if you’re using it. Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approving your comment, your profile picture will be visible to the public along with your comment.

Media

If you upload images to our website, then you should refrain from uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to our website can download and extract all location data from images on the site.

Contact forms

If you enter personal information in our website’s contact form, we will keep your data secure for as long as you have given us permission.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our website, you can choose to store your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience, so you don’t have to fill in your information again when you post another comment. These cookies will last for a year.

If you have an account and you log into our website, we will set up a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal data and is removed when you close the browser.

When you log in, we will set up a number of cookies and save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen selection cookies last for a year. If you choose “Remember Me”, your login will last for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will disappear.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie does not contain any personal data and provides postID on the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

We use third-party cookies from Google Analytics to create statistics about your visits, which pages you visit, and the length of your visits. We do this to give you a better experience. How long do we store your data

We store your data for up to 3 years, or as long as the law ascribes that we must store your data. Transaction data (amount, goods, VAT) between you and us is mandatory to keep for 5 years from the time of the transaction.

If you leave a comment, comments and its metadata will be stored as long as you have not revoked the information. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comment automatically instead of having them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide to their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their username). Site administrators can also view and edit that information.

What rights do you have over your data

If you have an account on this site or have posted comments, you can ask for an exported file with the personal data we have about you, including all data you have provided to us. You may also request that we delete any personal data we have about you under applicable law (GDPR). This is done by sending an email to customerservice@nautage.com this does not include any kind of data that we are obliged to store for administrative, legal or security reasons.

What data breach procedures do we have in place?

Should it happen that we accidentally share your personal data with a non-valid third party, we have a duty to stop the sharing, just as we are obliged to report the error to the Danish Data Protection Agency.

Where do we send your data to

Visitor comments may be verified by an automatic spam recognition service. In addition,  Nautage uses targeted advertising through the following vendors: Facebook, Instagram,  Youtube, Google,  SnapChat,  TikTok, Pinterest and Twitter. These vendors receive cookies to target ads. 

Where can I complain

If you wish to complain about our handling of your data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency.
